HOLIDAY SEASON

Wigwam to hold COVID-compliant tree-lighting Nov. 27

Posted

The Wigwam’s COVID-compliant annual tree-lighting Friday, Nov. 27, on the resort's front lawn will feature Santa, story time, hot chocolate, cookies and toy donations to the United Goodyear Firefighter Charities Toy Drive.

Attendees are required to wear face masks in all public areas in compliance with the city of Litchfield Park’s mask mandate, resort officials said. The Wigwam is at 300 E. Wigwam Blvd.

Festivities will begin at 6:15 p.m. when Santa parades in on a classic firetruck to light the resort’s Christmas tree. Afterward, the jolly old elf will read a holiday story.

Hot chocolate, cookies and adult hot chocolate will be available for purchase. Those who bring a toy to donate to the toy drive will receive a free hot chocolate and cookie.
