West Valley Women sets 13th annual Meet the Mayors event

Registration under way for June 1 Zoom session

West Valley Women Networking Association will hold its 13th annual Meet the Mayors event Tuesday, June 1.

As of May 13, six mayors and one city councilwoman were scheduled to discuss what’s happening in their respective cities during the event sponsored by Maria R. Brunner, Fairway Mortgage loan officer.

They include Mayor Kenn Weise, Avondale; Councilwoman Jeanine Guy, Buckeye; Mayor Jerry Weiers, Glendale; Mayor Georgia Lord, Goodyear; Mayor Thomas L. Schoaf, Litchfield Park; Mayor Cathy Carlat, Peoria; and Mayor Skip Hall, Surprise.

The Zoom meeting, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., is open to members and nonmembers. Participants may register by visiting westvalleywomennetworking.com and clicking on the Meetings tab.

Cost to attend is $7 for members and $12 for nonmembers.

Registrants will receive a Zoom link via email May 28. Those who experience difficulty registering may call Lisa Platt, chief connections officer, at 602-573-7496 for assistance.
