Surprise Tennis classes come to forefront

The city of Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex has the whole family covered this summer.
Located at 14469 W. Paradise Lane, this award winning 25-court facility offers tennis lessons for all ages and levels.
These include clinics and classes, such as:
• Monthly sessions or drop-in clinics that provide exercise, social interaction, competition and more. These clinics are available in the morning and evening. Find something for everyone. Ages 6 and under can participate, as can adults.
• Surprise Tennis University. For those who are new to the game, Surprise Tennis University is an 11-week program for adults. It includes six weeks of instruction, four weeks of pre-match drills and coaching followed by supervised match play and one week of non-elimination tournament.
This class will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays from June 7 through Aug. 16.
The tennis complex is open seven days a week.
Summer hours are as follows:
Every day 6:30 to 11 a.m.
Also 4:30 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
