The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 17 new weekly coronavirus cases in Litchfield Park over the week ending Friday, May 21, down 14 from the 31 new cases reported last Friday.
That brings the overall tally of cases in the ZIP code to 3,904.
The ZIP code includes the city of Litchfield Park and unincorporated Maricopa County. The state does not separate cases by incorporated and unincorporated areas.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

Each Wednesday, the county updates the number of residents vaccinated, and the percentage of residents vaccinated by ZIP code at maricopa.gov/5671/Public-Vaccine-Data.
As of May 18, Maricopa County health officials reported that more than 41% of all residents and 47% of all residents ages 10 and older had received at least one dose, and 46% of doses administered completed that resident’s COVID-19 vaccine series.
On May 13, those ages 12 to 15 became eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, and those ages 10 to 14 were added to the eligibility list, according to the county website.
According to the website, 3,212,999 vaccine doses had been administered in Maricopa County. Of those, 1,691,996 were first dose, 1,500,770 were second dose and 20,223 were unknown.
In Goodyear 85395, 61.5% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 52.7% had received their second dose. In Goodyear 85338, 52.2% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 43.1% had received their second dose.
