Man expected to recover after shooting in Litchfield Park

A man is expected to recover following a shooting in Litchfield Park.

Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting in the area of Dysart and Camelback roads.

Deputies arrived on scene and found a man in his 60s that had been shot one time. He was awake and alert and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

MCSO detectives continue to investigate.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery and detectives are working to identify a possible suspect.
