Litchfield Park to collect green waste April 13

The city of Litchfield Park Public Works Department will collect green waste throughout the city Monday April 13 as part of the city’s 20th annual Spring Cleanup Day.
Crews will collect tree trimmings, small branches, garden prunings, bushes and shrubs 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m., a city release stated.
Residents can begin placing those items at curbside after 3 p.m. Friday, April 10. Items should be bundled neatly, not bagged, and placed at the end of the driveway, the release stated. Bundles should not block sidewalks.
