Garry Arthur Anderson

Posted

Garry, 71, passed away peacefully December 18, 2019, after a year long battle with brain cancer, with his wife, Renee at his side.

Garry was born to Gustav and Elvera Anderson, both deceased, in Minneapolis, MN, on October 2, 1948, moving with his family to Washington state at an early age.

He is survived by two sisters, Dianna Amundson of Washington and Vicki Anderson of Oregon. He had four living children, Brandy, Garry II, Erin and Ethan and one child, Kimberly who was previously deceased. He is also survived by three step-sons, Brett Peterson of Burien, WA, David Williams of Bow, WA and Mark Williams of Ferndale, WA, along with several grandchildren.

Garry retired from Boeing in 2010 as an electrician, then moved to Arizona shortly thereafter. He loved working with his hands, building beautiful creations out of metal and wood. Always happy to help a neighbor. His newest love was property in Show Low and would go up as often as he could. Even though he lived most of his life in Washington, Arizona was his home. He loved everything about the state and was proud to call it home.
