City launches live stream from Goodyear Ballpark

Baseball fans who can’t make it to the Goodyear Ballpark during spring training Feb. 22-March 22 can still enjoy the excitement from their phones or their computers.

LIVE in Goodyear launched Thursday, Feb. 20, providing live-streaming images from cameras positioned at the ballpark. The city will stream the cameras at goodyearaz.gov/LIVEinGoodyear as well as on its Facebook page, facebook.com/goodyearazgov. Followers can also find the stream at #LIVEinGoodyear.

Because of team broadcasting rights and restrictions, the field camera’s live feed will not be visible during game times, according to a city press release on the live cam launch.

Throughout the year, the public also will be able to watch festivals, the Star Spangled 4th, car shows, sporting events and other activities held at the ballpark.

More LIVE in Goodyear cameras will be added throughout this year  to capture its beauty and weather events, like the monsoon, the press release noted.
