Home Depot may sign large industrial lease in Goodyear

The home improvement retailer was spotted moving product into massive warehouse

Posted

Home Depot has been spotted moving product into the Elwood Logistics Center, a 1.3 million-square-foot warehouse in Goodyear, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

Sources familiar with the deal told the Business Journal the company signed a license agreement, allowing Home Depot to use the building for a specific period of time, but stated the home improvement company may soon sign a full lease.

Home Depot claims to be the largest home improvement retailer in the U.S.

A row of Estenson Logistics trailers are parked in the back of the logistics center. The trucking company is known to transport products for Home Depot.

Elwood Logistics Center is a Class A industrial development that broke ground in February 2020, and is the “largest speculative industrial building ever to break ground in the Valley,” Independent Newsmedia reported at the time

The warehouse sits south of the junction of Interstate 10 and the Loop 303.
