Goodyear’s Lakeside Music Festival is scheduled to return April 9 for the first time in two years.

After a challenging couple of years for artists, this event celebrates the state’s local talent,” the city wrote in an announcement.

There’s something for everyone at the city’s 8th annual summer concert including funk-soul, folk, country rock, alternative rock and pop.

The scheduled lineup includes local artists such as Marble Heart, Swainn, The Sugar Thieves, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra and Wade Cota.

The family-friendly festival will include a kid’s zone as well as a beer and wine garden for guests 21 and older, as well as free parking.

Concert-goers will also have a variety of food trucks to choose from.

The concert will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater at 10300 S. Estrella Pkwy, which overlooks North Lake.
