Avondale invites community to celebrate 2022 grads

Posted

Do you have a graduating senior you’d like to celebrate? The City of Avondale is inviting you to take part in its Faces of Avondale Graduate Recognition, as a way to highlight the achievements and success of the Graduating Class of 2022.

The City of Avondale would like to honor the graduating classes of 2022 for their achievements by showcasing graduation photos on the city’s website, social media platforms as well as Avondale 11, the city’s channel on Cox.

Parents, teachers and the graduates themselves are encouraged to post their graduation photos on Instagram, using the hashtag #AvondaleGrads2022. This special hashtag will allow the photos to feed into a platform on the City’s website, and will be widely shared.

The Faces of Avondale 2022 Graduate Recognition Program launches this week on the cities website, www.avondaleaz.gov/grads  and on social platforms. Please remember to use the hashtag #AvondaleGrads2022, and make sure privacy settings are set to public for these photos to be captured when posting online.

A montage of photos submitted will be shared on Avondale social media platforms, and on Channel 11 all summer long.

Additional information about the Faces of Avondale 2022 Grad recognition is online at www.avondaleaz.gov/grads or email emailpublicinformation@avondaleaz.gov.
