The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking public input for a study about future improvements at the intersection connecting Grand Avenue (US 60) with 35th Avenue and Indian School Road in west Phoenix.

ADOT is conducting an online survey allowing residents to provide comments for the “Grand-35” study that is looking at ways to reduce traffic congestion and enhance safety at the intersection. Potential changes include raising or lowering one or more of the roadways connecting Grand Avenue, Indian School Road and 35th Avenue.

The survey and information about the study are available at ADOTGrand35Study.com. Comments can be submitted through Friday, Nov. 6.

The study also will evaluate potential pedestrian, bicycle and public transit improvements at the intersection, such as new sidewalks, bicycle lanes, bus shelters and bus pullouts.

Comments for the Grand-35 study also can be sent via email to ADOTGrand35Study@hdrinc.com, by calling 602-474-3952 or by mailing to ADOT Grand-35 Study, HDR Inc., 20 E. Thomas Rd., Suite 2500, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
