No injuries at Glendale furniture store fire

Posted

No injuries were reported during a Sunday evening fire at a Glendale furniture store.

Glendale Fire Capt. Ashley Losch shared that firefighters arrived on scene of the America’s Furniture Warehouse, 5801 N. 99th Ave., just after 8 p.m. Sunday, May 1, to find a dumpster fire, which was pulled away from the building, and some fire inside of the trash compactor.

Crews began fighting the fire and completed a quick search for occupants and confirmed no one was inside, Losch said. The fire had not extended into the structure.

No injuries have been reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
