Midwestern announces leadership team promotions in Glendale

Midwestern University, 19555 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, has new roles and responsibilities for members of its leadership team.
Joshua C. Baker has been promoted to senior vice president and chief academic officer, adding oversight and management of Admissions and Research and Sponsored Programs on both the Glendale and Illinois campuses to his duties as CAO for Pharmacy, Optometry, and Veterinary Education. Dr. Baker has been with Midwestern for eight years.
Angela L. Marty has been promoted to senior vice president, human resources and administration, with management responsibilities including communications and special events, library, media resources, safety and security, risk management, institutional research, and occupational safety and health. Marty has been with Midwestern since 1996.
Daniel Tapia has been promoted to vice president of operations, after previously serving as director of project management, and as assistant vice president of project management. Tapia has been with Midwestern University for 18 years and is a recipient of the Littlejohn Award, the university’s highest honor for faculty, staff and alumni.
