The Sacred G’s coming to Murphy Park

The Sacred G’s — a group of professional dancers that use the art of dance and sacred movement practices to empower the body, inspire the mind and enrich the link to spirit — have a number of Glendale performances coming up through the holidays.

“We’re a multicultural, versatile group of conscious art-makers who have hailed from differing life paths, yet our common ground is that we come from the underground Hip Hop, street, and club dance communities,” their official website states.

The Sacred G’s will light up Murphy Park, at 5850 W. Glendale Ave., with their own brand of illumination.

These artists, in interactive LED suits, bring street dance and theatrics to life on Sunday, Nov. 28; Sunday, Dec. 12; Sunday, Dec. 19; and Sunday, Jan. 2. Performances start just after sunset.
