It is with deep sadness that the family and friends of Judy mourn her passing on March 27, 2021 in Sun City, AZ at the age of 82. She passed away at Banner Boswell Hospital from acute renal failure. She was born on March 24, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Eldon and Helen Drake. She married Louis Gerardi in 1966. Judy and her husband and two sons resided in Bloomingdale, IL until moving to Tucson and then later settling in Sun City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 2006 and her brother, Thomas in 2012. She is survived by her two sons, Louis of Milton, FL and Anthony of McLean, VA; her brothers, John (Linda) of Sun City, AZ, Brian (Gerri) of Hot Springs, AK; and her sister, Sharon (Joseph) Quane of Centennial, CO; her niece, Trista Drake; and nephews, Mark and Joel Drake and Mathew and Adam Quane. She is also survived by her many Sun City friends who will miss her forever. Judy gave many hours of herself in volunteer work. She was an avid volunteer for many years in Tucson and Phoenix area in support of mental illness. She was a member of St. Clement of Rome, Catholic Church. Judy donated her body to Science. A Mass will be said at St. Clement of Rome on May 22, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
