The annual Glendale Family Bike Ride has been reimagined for this year and will take place as a virtual ride.
The free virtual ride takes place April 10-17, and brings together residents to enjoy recreational biking, learn about bicycle safety, and explore Glendale bike lanes and pathways.
April is also Valley Bike Month.
How it works:
Register online, grab a helmet, check your bike, and take your family on a 6-mile bike ride in Glendale anytime between Saturday, April 10 through Saturday, April 17. Riders choose a 6-mile route of their choice or hop on a stationary bike and ride indoors.
Ride at your own pace and complete the ride anytime during the week. There are several bike paths and trails available in Glendale.
Visit glendaleaz.com/FamilyBikeRide for more information and to register.
Each participant who completes the ride will receive a Glendale Family Bike Ride fanny pack.
Participants are also invited to email pictures of themselves taking part to email@example.com, or to share them online using the hashtag #GlendaleBikeRide and to tag @glendaletransportation on Instagram and @GlendaleAZTransportation on Facebook.
