Glendale ranked as the 98th-best city for singles in the U.S. and the seventh-best Arizona city for singles in a new study from WalletHub.

Tucson ranked highest in Arizona, ranking as the 11th-best city in the country for singles. In Arizona, it was followed by Tempe (29), Phoenix (32), Chandler (51), Scottsdale (55), Mesa (89), Glendale (98), Gilbert (135) and Peoria (165). WalletHub included 182 U.S. cities in the study.

City’s scores were broken into three categories: Economics, measured by things like afforadability of housing, restaurant meals, movie tickets and beauty salons as well as things like median income and job growth rate; Fun & Recreation: measured by things like weather, walkability, safety and the number of restaurants, nightlife options, shopping centers, parks and music festivals per capita; and Dating Opportunities, which measures the share of single population, gender balance and online and mobile dating opportunties.

Glendale ranked best in Economics (48), also ranked well in Dating Opportunities (67) and its worst score was in Fun & Recreation (155).

Glendale tied for the third-lowest movie ticket price in the country, tied with Phoenix, Mesa and Chandler.
