Comedian Brian Kohatsu, a Glendale native, released his first comedy special titled “Japanese Bedtime Story.”
“My father and friends always encouraged me to do comedy. I never took them too seriously, but when I was about 40, I tried stand up for the first time and I was hooked,” the 53-year-old shared in a news release.
Since that time, Kohatsu has performed around the country in churches, casinos, comedy clubs and corporate events.
His new special is available through Dry Bar Comedy, a stand-up comedy streaming series, garnering up to 150 million monthly views across the brand’s social and app platforms. Dry Bar’s brand, ‘Funny for Everyone’, promises that the comedy content is always safe for work and family-friendly.
Kohatsu’s special is available for free by downloading the Dry Bar Comedy+ app and using the promo code BRIANKOHATSU to get the first month free.
