A free food box distribution is coming to Glendale.
The event for those in need takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 at Brighter View Foundation, 4341 W. Bell Road, Glendale.
“Right now, a staggering number of our neighbors are at risk of hunger,” Brighter View Foundation stated in its event announcement. “The pandemic brought hardship to many households in Arizona. Thousands are still trying to recover. Many of our neighbors are missing meals because of limited budgets and having to cope with rising food costs on top of everything else.”
Brighter View Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to positively impact life for people with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities, seniors and those that care for them.
“We serve to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education,” says the organization.
On Nov. 18, drive through the back for car side pick up or go inside.
