Abrazo Health is designating Wednesday, Nov. 17 as a day to recognize “Community Built on Heroes,” including at Abrazo Arrowhead in Glendale.
The event will thank employees, providers and local first responders for going above and beyond during the pandemic at Abrazo hospitals across the Valley, including its Arrowhead campus at 18701 N. 67th Ave., Glendale.
Abrazo is inviting its hospital staff, physicians and local EMS providers and first responders to “Community Built on Heroes” during day and evening shifts to recognize and celebrate the health care community. Abrazo hospital buildings will be illuminated with teal-color lighting during the week of Nov. 15-19 to show public appreciation and gratitude.
“These health care heroes, inside our hospitals and out in the community, have been working under very stressful conditions protecting our public health,” Abrazo Health Market CEO Brian Elisco stated in a news release. :”We wanted to have a public show of support of their efforts. This is an opportunity to spread goodwill and positivity for health care workers and first responders.”
