Grammy Award-winning Chance the Rapper announced in late December that he is canceling his national 2020 tour, the Big Tour, which had included a scheduled Jan. 19 stop at Gila River Arena in Glendale.

In an Instagram post, he blamed the cancellation on a desire to be with his family. “Hey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour,” he wrote. “I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date.”
