Cement truck tips over in collision in Glendale

Crews spent part of Friday cleaning up an cement and fuel spill after a collision in Glendale.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. near Glendale Avenue and Litchfield Road, just outside of Luke Air Force Base.

Glendale police said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A news helicopter showed a cement truck and possibly three other vehicles involved in a collision.

The southbound lanes were closed as crews cleaned up the mess.
