The Peoria Unified School District Governing Board will take a closer look at 2020-21 school year plans at its next board meeting 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25.
The district’s Return to School Task Force has been working to develop plans regarding what the school year will look like in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. A comprehensive overview of the plan will be discussed at the regular governing board meeting.
More in-depth details for the return to school plan will follow up at the board’s study session on Wednesday, July 1. No plans will be final until after July 1.
While meetings typically are held in the District Administration Center, 6330 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale, the meeting will take place remotely via livestream on the Peoria Unified YouTube channel pending the lifting of COVID-19 gathering restrictions. Currently, all in-person district events are canceled.
