Carvin Jones is bringing the blues back to Glendale.
The Phoenix-based blues guitar virtuoso, a regular on West Valley stages, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at Deer Valley Eagles #3871, 3600 W. Rose Garden Lane, Glendale.
The legend was voted one of the 50 greatest blues guitarists of all-time by Guitarist Magazine.
Mr. Jones plays in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King, and famously had Eric Clapton utter, “Carvin Jones is a young cat out of Phoenix who I think is the next up-and-coming blues player.”
