Arrowhead mall partially open for curbside and takeout dining

While north Glendale’s Arrowhead Towne Center mall is still not a place to gather, some retail stores and restaurants have reopened to allow for curbside pickup and takeout dining orders.
Many stores with exterior entrances at the mall are using those entrances for curbside pickups. Aside from those, stores are sharing two curbside pickup locations: one on the north side of the mall — at the parking lot in front of the AMC Theaters, enter off of Union Hills Drive from either 79th Avenue or 77th Avenue — and one on the south side of the mall — parking lot in front of Fired Pie, enter off of Bell Road and 77th Avenue.
Mall management recommends that shoppers contact a store directly for specific hours, which pickup location it is using, merchandise availability, payment options and to place an order. Mall management also asks that shoppers please remember to stay in their vehicles while waiting for their package. The common area of the shopping center remains closed at this time.
The mall never entirely closed. Immediately after Gov. Ducey’s stay-at-home order a handful of businesses at the mall remained open including Chompie’s, Puppies N Love and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
More stores have opened since Mr. Ducey has loosened business restrictions regarding the coronavirus in May. Though restaurants can now legally resume dine-in services in Arizona, none of the malls restaurants are choosing to do so yet, and the mall’s food court remain closed.
