The Keli May Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that supports young adults in foster care, has opened submissions have opened up for its annual music scholarship, the Keli May Artist Spotlight Scholarship.

The scholarship was created in 2020 to support talented musicians in the Valley who are making a positive impact in their community through music in honor of the founders' late daughter, Keli Rutledge, who died in 2016 in Gilbert.

This year, two recipients will receive a cash award intended to go toward music education and equipment costs.

Interested parties have until July 15 to enter and winners will be announced on July 29, which is Rutledge's birthday.

Those interested can find more information and the submission form on the foundation's website
