Southwest Valley painter donates services to church

When Life Elevation Church in Avondale needed its interior spruced up, Pastor Cedrick Carter knew just who to call — member Jordan Murzyn, owner of Fresh Coat Painters of Goodyear, 19320 W. Denton St, Litchfield Park.

Mr. Murzyn, a U.S. Army veteran who met Mr. Carter 15 years ago when he attended Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church in Phoenix, where Carter served before starting Life Elevation in 2012, was happy to help.

Mr. Murzyn also was happy to donate his services, and Alex Grassity, local representative for Sherwin Williams paints, donated the paint.

On Feb. 17, Mr. Murzyn and his team met at the church, 2517 N. 107th Ave., where they painted the church’s Fellowship Hall, a community gathering place for counseling and recovering alcoholic classes.

Murzyn’s team provides interior, exterior painting, wood staining and other services.
