UPDATE: Missing Apache Junction woman found deceased in Buckeye

Buckeye Police annnounced Saturday, Aug. 15 that Jean Fawley, the missing Apache Junction woman whose abandoned vehicle was found Thursday in an undeveloped area of Buckeye, was found deceased Friday night.

UPDATE: Missing Apache Junction woman found deceased in Buckeye

Buckeye Police annnounced Saturday, Aug. 15 that Jean Fawley, the missing Apache Junction woman whose abandoned vehicle was found Thursday in an undeveloped area of Buckeye, was found deceased Friday night.

Foul play is not suspected, BPD Public Information Officer Donna Rossi said. The medical examiner will determine cause of death. 

Ms. Fawley was reported missing Wednesday. Buckeye Police mounted an extensive search  with tracking dogs and helicopters after her vehicle was discovered near Riggs and Komatke roads around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Her body was found about a half-mile from her vehicle, Ms. Rossi said.
