Free COVID-19 tests available at two sites

Strapped for cash and need a free COVID-19 test?

Gov. Doug Ducey announced Friday, July 17 that the Arizona Department of Heath Services has partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide 5,000 free COVID-19 tests a day over the next 12 days, for a total of 60,000 tests.

The tests are being administered at two sites: South Mountain Park, 10919 S. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042 and Maryvale High School, 3415 N. 59th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85033.

Registration is required to be tested. Each person in the household seeking a test must be registered separately. You do not need to be experiencing symptoms to be tested, and there are no minimum age requirements. Click here to register.

COVID-19 testing also is available at more than 300 locations across the state. Sites in Goodyear’s 85338 ZIP code include:

CVS Pharmacy: 2840 N. Dysart Road. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday.
