Gov. Doug Ducey will join a bipartisan group of Arizona state legislators Tuesday morning at Sub-Zero’s manufacturing facility in Goodyear as the Arizona Manufacturers Council and Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry kick-off a two-day tour of manufacturing facilities in metropolitan Phoenix and Tucson.

The event is scheduled for 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Others speaking at the event include Sub-Zero’s Dan Marotz, Arizona Chamber President and CEO Glenn Hamer, and state Rep. Joanne Osborne.

In addition to visiting Sub-Zero, legislators on Tuesday and Wednesday will tour Pepsico in Tolleson, Boeing in Mesa, Benchmark Electronics in Phoenix, Raytheon in Tucson, and Pima Community College’s Aviation Technology Center in Tucson.

“We are so pleased to welcome Gov. Ducey to join the Arizona Manufacturers Council and Arizona Chamber in this celebration of Arizona’s cutting-edge manufacturers and innovators,” Arizona Manufacturers Council Executive Director Allison Gilbreath said. “Thanks to the policies supported by Gov. Ducey and the state Legislature, manufacturing in Arizona is thriving.

"Over the next two days, we look forward to learning more about the products these companies are producing, the jobs they’re creating, and what Arizona can do to attract even more manufacturers.”
