COVID-19 cases in Goodyear closing in on 2,000

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of COVID-19 cases in Goodyear was 1,986 as of Friday, July 24, a 14.6% increase over last Friday and a 2.53% increase over Thursday.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:
