Lawrence Franklin Gray

Posted

Lawrence was known by family and friends for his antics which made us all smile.

He took such delight in being silly or dressing up wildly to bring joy to the room. His love for his dogs was no secret. He was known to carry treats to share with any canine he saw. Often seen in Sun City towing his beloved dogs in a cart behind his bike, he was once featured in an article.

Born in Indiana, he moved to Arizona after his service in the Navy.

Larry was an avid golfer and bowler. By nature, he possessed an inner warmth and love that he shared freely with all.

On March 26, 2020, Lawrence joined his heavenly family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Nancy; daughters, Laurie and Cindy (Mike); brother, Jack; sisters, Mary and Sharon; step-children, Bob and Debbie; grandchildren: Justin (Danielle), Shelby, Samuel, Kristianna, Tara, Robby, Jeremy; great-granddaughter, Bailey; great-grandsons, Asher, Canaan, Noah, and Benaih; and many nieces and nephews he loved dearly.

A long-time resident of Arizona, he was loved and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
