Halloween Spooktacular returns to Chandler

Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza in Downtown Chandler will transform into a Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m for the city's annual Halloween Spooktacular event. Admission is free.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes and take part in the fun-filled activities in the park.
Halloween Spooktacular highlights include:
• Catwalk Costume Parade – Show off your Halloween best in the costume parade. Boos and ghouls of all ages are encouraged to participate. No registration is required, and all walkers ages 12 and under will receive a special glowing souvenir. The parade begins promptly at 6:15 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
• Trunk-or-Treat – A Halloween party isn’t complete without lots of candy. Spooktacular’s Trunk-or-Treat features multiple candy stations with more than 300 lbs. of tricked-out treats. Be sure to bring a bag to carry your Halloween haul!
• Carnival Games – Spooky shenanigans fill the park giving partygoers the chance to win eek-citing prizes. Be sure to visit favorites like the Spooky Prize Wheel, Musical Headstones, Pumpkin Sack Races and Inflatable Axe Throwing.
• Halloween Dance Party – Things are sure to go bump in the night as monsters of all ages monster mash to Halloween beats.
Halloween Spooktacular is presented by the City of Chandler in partnership with Chandler Lions Club and Waste Management.
Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza is located at 178 E. Commonwealth Place.
Free parking for this event is available on the east side of Arizona Avenue, including the City Hall Parking Garage (Chicago and Washington streets), the Johnathan Parking Garage (Buffalo and Washington streets) or the Alexander Parking Garage (Boston and Washington streets).
