Latest COVID-19 cases in Buckeye top 2,900

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the overall number of Buckeye COVID-19 cases at approximately 2,925 on Monday, July 27.

Breaking it down by zip code, there were 1,694 cases in Buckeye’s 85326 code, which includes areas of Liberty, Goodyear, Hassayampa and Cotton Center; 657 cases in Buckeye’s 85340 code, which includes areas of Litchfield Park, Glendale, Avondale and Goodyear; 438 cases in Buckeye’s 85396 code, which includes areas of Surprise; 131 cases in Buckeye’s 85361 code, which includes areas of Surprise and Wittmann; and “between 1-10” cases in Buckeye’s 85343 code, which includes areas of Palo Verde.

The ADHS said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:
