The Issues & Experts series is a news-topic discussion led by local Independent journalists to discuss meaningful, purposeful issues within the community.

The series topics range from development to elections to current events. Community activists are invited as panelists where moderator asks a series of questions to encourage civil discussions.

Independent Newsmedia, and its dedicated corps of journalists, connect readers and valued clients with businesses and the community by hosting monthly events throughout the year. The most popular events include our Senior Expos, Hometown Heroes Awards, and Issues & Experts forums.

The events give our valued clients the opportunity to showcase products, services, and resources benefiting our readers.

“Our readers need relevant information on issues impacting them at the local level,” said Arizona Managing Editor Melissa Rosequist. “Our goal is to educate  so people leave with valuable information to be proactive in their communities.”
