Dynamic piano duo next in Webb Center’s free virtual concert series

Posted

Juilliard trained masters Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe will present a unique piano concert, created just for Webb Center audiences, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The free program will be broadcast live from their respective home studios in New York and Washington states.

With their vast repertoire that includes compositions from Brahms and Beethoven to John Williams and John Lennon, the duo inspires audience members with their powerful depth and expert command of the keyboard.

The Anderson & Roe Piano Duo has appeared on PBS and MTV, recorded Billboard chart-topping albums, toured worldwide as recitalists and orchestral soloists and released Emmy-nominated, self-produced music videos viewed by millions.

“The virtual concert with Anderson & Roe will be the fourth in our series this season,” remarked Stephanie Fornoff, Webb Center director of marketing. “Our audience members have enjoyed the previous shows for their convenience and entertainment value. Giving everyone a front row seat, the viewers love that they don’t have to drive far, get dressed up or leave the comfort of their couches for a great concert. The livestream shows we’ve hosted with The Barricade Boys and Michael Cavanaugh have been highly interactive and entertaining.”

For more information and to reserve a complimentary “ticket” to this virtual event, call the Webb Center Box Office at 928-684-6624 or visit dewpac.org. Only one “ticket” per household is needed for viewing on your smartphone, tablet, computer or smart TV. Audience members will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to join the virtual concert 3 days prior to the event.

This event is only accessible to those who reserve a “ticket.” The livestream concert will happen in real time and will not be available afterwards on demand or for replay. There is a $5 virtual program delivery charge, whether reserved by phone or online, to help offset broadcasting costs.
