It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Doris “Jean” (Davis) Duerstein, at the age of 97, Saint Francis, WI on March 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband LaVerne; her mother Pearl and father Lew Davis and brothers Chester, Claire, Dean and Neil, sisters Lois Hillier and Lucile Tucker. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Jeffrey (Lorna) and Kurt (Cathryn), Grandchildren, Kyle, Cale and Angela; and great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Mary Davis and also many nieces and nephews. Jean was born on June 22, 1923 in Manchester, Iowa. Jean lived for over 40 years in Sun City, AZ and worked as a Seamstress. She loved talking with her customers and was always glad when someone brought something for her to hem or take in. She enjoyed going to lunch with family in Arizona, especially for pizza and beer on Friday nights. A Memorial Service will be held by the family at a future date.
