Buckeye has Summer Camp in a bag for kids

Posted

The Buckeye Recreation Department’s Summer Camp in a Bag program can help children stay active at home while also beating the heat.

Parents can pick up weekly activity bags for children aged 3 to 14 every Thursday until July 30.

Activity bags feature a different theme each week. Superheroes, water safety, STEM and other entertaining and educational activities will keep things interesting and fun for kids.

The theme for the following week is revealed on Recreation’s Facebook page, @BuckeyeAZRec.

Online, pre-registration is required for each week of participation.

Each bag costs $12 per child and can be picked up between 4 and 6 p.m. every Thursday at the Dr. Saide Recreation Center, 1003 E. Eason Ave., Buckeye.
