Buckeye City Council cancels special meeting to discuss face masks

Posted

On Friday June 19, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted regulations requiring all residents of Maricopa County, including those in incorporated and unincorporated areas, to wear face coverings.

The city of Buckeye had scheduled a special council meeting for Tuesday, June 23 to discuss requiring face coverings, but since the county’s action supersedes the city action, it is no longer necessary to hold the meeting.

The special meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. June 23 is cancelled.
