Pinal County’s largest primary care rebrands to Sun Life Health

Posted

After years of expansion and providing health care to Arizona’s communities, Sun Life Family Health Center is now Sun Life Health.

Company officials believe updating the brand better reflects what Sun Life Health is and what it has to offer.

“As we transition to our new brand over the next two years, we plan to continuously innovate our health care, expand our footprint, and above all else, focus on our patient's health,” said Dr. Eddie Estrada, CEO at Sun Life Health.

Sun Life Family Health Center started in 1976. It grew from a small doctor’s office with only two physicians into one of Pinal County’s largest primary care providers. Today, it serves 42,000 patients from all walks of life, 25% of whom are children.

For more than 45 years, Sun Life Health has become a valuable community resource while participating in the continued economic growth of Pinal County. It has locations in Florence, Apache Junction, Coolidge, Eloy, Chandler,  Casa Grande, Maricopa, Oracle, San Manuel and a mobile health unit.

In its new logo, the four parts of the sun starting from the center circle represent patient-centered care that revolves around the individual. The tagline, “Health Starts Here,” emphasizes all who walk through the door are empowered and supported to start their health journey at Sun Life Health, officials said.

Sun Life Health has coordinated care where doctors create a personalized health care plan that meets individual needs. Sun Life Health offers services such as pediatrics, dentistry, women’s health, onsite lab testing, pharmacies, telehealth and more. It also offers same-day visits and appointments, as well as integrated care that focuses on the whole person, including education on prevention and chronic condition support.
