Holiday festivities at Apache Junction Public Library

A holiday class and event are slated the first two Saturdays of December at the Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Road.

They are:

  • 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, make a fairy wand for your garden. “Easy-to-assemble fairy wands add glimmering sparkle to spruce up any garden. Select from an array of dazzling beads, charms and toppers to make that perfect holiday craft. If you would love to welcome the fairies to your home, then come join us for a delightful hour of creativity and imagination. All supplies are provided. Limit one fairy wand per person. Minimum age is 12 years old. Seating is limited; call to make your reservations,” a release states.
  • 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11: “A day of holiday merriment with activities for all ages, including a performance by the Apache Junction High School Jazz Band, a puppet show, crafts, a baking demonstration, cookie decorating and a visit from Santa.”
