Motorists who use State Route 79 between Florence and Oracle Junction should expect delays starting Tuesday, Sept. 21, while crews complete a chip seal followed by a fog seal.

Motorists should expect alternating lane closures with flaggers and pilot cars between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. each weekday. Delays of about 15 minutes are likely, according to a release.

The work is expected to take about one month to complete.

Motorists should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
