Construction manager at risk sought for Superstition Vistas roadways

D.R. Horton Inc. is seeking a qualified construction manager at risk to provide pre­construction services and complete construction services for the phase lA collector and arterial roads project.

The roads, according to a public notice, include:

  • Meridian, from Solina to Ray;
  • Ray, from Meridian to Ironwood; and
  • Solina, from Meridian to Reverance.

All qualified firms that are interested in providing these services are invited to submit their statement of qualifications in accordance with the requirements detailed in the request for qualifications, the notice states.

D.R. Horton is the owner/developer in a 2,783-acre master planned development west of the Idaho Road alignment, east of Meridian Road, north of the Ray Avenue alignment and south of the Elliot Avenue alignment.

The property — also commonly referred to as Superstition Vistas — is in Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District No. 1 and Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District No. 2.

The contract with the construction manager at risk will be with D.R. Horton Inc. and not with the Arizona State Land Department, city of Apache Junction Water Utilities Community Facilities District, Superstition Mountain Community Facilities District, Brookfield ASLD 8500 LLC, Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District No. 1 or Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District No. 2, the notice states.

Statements of qualifications must be received by 3 p.m. Jan. 26 to Jose Castillo and hand delivered to D.R. Horton, 2525 W. Frye Road Suite No. 100 in Chandler.
