Central Arizona College offering ‘Registration Days’ for spring 2023

Central Arizona College will soon be offering Registration Days for its spring 2023 semester.

“The Spring New Student Registration Days” provide new students with an opportunity to meet in person with an adviser, work with registration staff to use an internet portal, and meet with financial aid and/or student accounts to determine how they are going to pay for college. Students also can explore resources available on campus, according to a press release.

Dates for each campus registration day are:

  • San Tan Campus – 1-7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3
  • Signal Peak Campus - 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8
  • Maricopa Campus – 1-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10
  • Superstition Mountain Campus – 1-7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15

“Students can start their college career at multiple points in the year,” stated Andy Long, dean of Enrollment Services, in the release. “One of our goals is to help students who are starting the spring semester make sure they are on the right path. These are events where staff is ready to help new students get started in the right direction.”

Students are asked to register in advance for a time slot for registration days at  https://calendly.com/cacoutreach.

Potential students should plan to be on campus for their designated session for 90 minutes. At check-in, they will receive an advising checklist and post-advising checklist. Their first stop will be with an adviser for an advising session and then to registration staff who will assist the student in logging into and registering through the student portal.

After completing the portal registration, students will meet with a financial aid or a student accounts staff member to review financial aid and determine how they can pay for college. Students may also explore student resources including the library and Learning Center.
