Apache Junction showcasing local artists at City Hall, library

Posted

The city of Apache Junction is bringing back the program of showcasing local artists at City Hall and the public library.

The art will be displayed in public areas of the city hall complex, 300 E. Superstition Blvd., and the library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, during the winter months through early 2022.

Submissions will be accepted 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, on the second floor of the administration building at city hall.

Artwork will be accepted on a first-come, first-served, content neutral, basis. All artwork must weigh 25 pounds or less and have a wire attached to the back in order to accommodate our art-hanging fixtures.

The city has space for up to 50 pieces of art, which will be on display for up to three months. All artists must sign a release and indemnification agreement in order to participate.

Artists who contributed art will be asked to pick up their pieces after the display period.

For further information contact Beth Kuenstler at 480-474-5066.
