Why should there be any issue re: the right of all U.S. citizens to be able to vote? Or why make it more difficult for any U.S. citizen to vote?
The drama going on in our Congress and Senate is ludicrous. There is little or no evidence of widespread voter fraud in this country.
Why would any American object to a fundamental right of every American citizen to vote without any hindrance? Whose interest does it serve? Our citizens or the politicians who allegedly represent them?
The politicians that pay lip service to American democracy and hide behind a time honored but time worn political strategy, the filibuster, should step up and vote for democracy.
Otherwise, they will bear the stigma of delivering a mortal blow to what was once a democratic America. A symbol to the rest of the world.
